Yep. Still in Idaho

But I actually thought about my return trip home the other day.
I tried to take a pic of Ada after church but this was the best non-blurry one I could get after several attempts. Perpetual motion is the best way to describe Ada. Her constant fury of activity has my dad worried ("Is she autistic?", "I think she has ADHD"). I think he just doesn't remember what kids are like. Maybe our next one will be content to sit on his lap for hours and do nothing.
She's cutting 3 molars and isn't too happy about it (her other teeth haven't affected her much). Is it sad that I'm flattered when my own child comes to me for comfort?

Thank you Grandma Monson for the cute dress.

My mom playing with Ada on the lawn (don't hate me, Mom!!!)

A rare, rare site.

Especially for Kyle

Who worked 24 hours this last weekend and hasn't seen his little family for 2 weeks.

Midway! Salt Lake! Idaho!

All very exciting places.
Quick digression: Pictures taken with the Hipstamatic app are getting so annoying and old. Srsly. It's all I see on blogs and Facebook (I'm a culprit). So I'll try to make these the last. No promises though, it's fun!!

Coolest picture EVER. Annie and Steve's AMC Eagle. Perfect photo op
At the park in Midway

Lunch at Tarahumara

Epitome of Ada right now. Me trying to hang on to her as she tries to run away for the 50th time, her with drool down her shirt (she's got 4 teeth coming in). Now I understand why people have those ridiculous leashes for their toddlers. Sign me up. We were at the Farmer's Market in Midway which is the biggest event of all time. We were subjected to a heinous band singing heinous covers, but we did come away with a giant bag of peaches for $5! We gorged.

Sultry

No Ada, but aren't those colors beautiful?

Ada with Sweetie. Ignore Christiane Amanpour in the background.
Ada and Poppie. She wasn't quite sure what to make of him.

First encounter with my Mom's horses. We weren't really as concerned as we look. It went well.

Hopefully more to come. I've at least got to get a pic of Ada with the black devil.

We Own a One-Year-Old

Plus we are on our annual sabbatical. Starting out in Northern California (where we celebrated Ada's bday with her Monson grandparents), then to Idaho via Salt Lake and Midway, Utah.

Ada wasn't very impressed with her birthday cupcake but Kyle had a lot of fun washing green frosting out of her hair. Never again.

Ada and May

Aren't those little chairs amazing?
