Elvis Has Left the Building

Bought white pants and a white button-up shirt, made the cape, desperately sought out a Bedazzler but ended up gluing on the rhinestones. $50 later and I'm not sure one primary party makes the hassle worth it. Must find something to do tomorrow...

I guess at this age it's really more about the pictures.

This Afternoon

That hand in her mouth is the reason Ada's already had two colds in the last month. The pediatrician told me that NYC kids will be sick 9-12 times between September and April. 9-12 times!!!!! 2 down, 10 to go...

Ada Bundle

I think I'm sort of over blogging--just not motivated AT ALL.
But here's a pic of Ada all bundled up and ready to go out this morning. Really, what else needs to be said (except that she has giant, lobstery man hands. Bad angle)?

Two things:
1.) Ada sometimes looks a lot like a little boy.
2.) Her eyes are crazy blue in this video.

New Obsession

Animal sound apps.
She will actually sit still for several minutes in front of this thing. Every one who knows this child can see what a big deal that is. The glazed-over look she gets is disturbing but at least it's sort of educational, right??

Sweeter Than Sweet

WARNING: Your head might explode from the cuteness about to happen.

(Ada and Panini in Sheep Meadow yesterday afternoon)

Kind of reminds me of this...

Loves Lemons

Enjoying a lemon at lunch today. She treats them like candy. Strange child.

I'm trying to be better about taking pictures when we are out and about. I really have no excuse with the camera on my phone being so decent. I'm just terrible at documenting.

So here we go:
We went to a tumbling class this morning with friends, Jacob and Annalisa.

Just in case you missed her, she's the one with "Ada" written across her back.

Bubbles are becoming a theme on this blog.

We took advantage of the gorgeous 75 degree weather by making a pit stop at Shake Shack (don't be too jealous Jessie. I was thinking of you and your non-access to delicious, beautiful meat the entire time).

Running around the Natural History Museum grounds.

Ada was so exhausted after all of this that she actually fell asleep in the stroller on the way home. I know, I know. I couldn't believe it either.
Next goal: taking pictures of Ada's actual face.

Pretend Play

Check out those perfect Ada-sized pots and pans. Another reason to love Ikea. Now all she needs is her new play kitchen (grandparents--I'm looking at you. Christmas!)

Mischeif Managed

And I think quite an improvement. Thanks Ikea!!!

Not sure how those red boxes will hold up. Clear would have probably been a better choice, but this way it will be like Christmas every time she opens them up.

We'll see how it looks after Ada the Torpedo is done with it.
