We headed over to the Central Park Conservatory Garden in hopes that the tulips might be in bloom (even though last year it happened the end of April. It's been a crazy warm spring). Nope. Not yet. I guess we'll just have to make another trip back.
Luckily the gardens are gorgeous pretty much year round.
Started out with lunch at Westville. A quick jaunt over to Clementine for some consignment shopping (plus consigning). Around the corner to Cones for the best dark chocolate gelato in existence. Then off to the Children's Museum of the Arts. Finished off with an actual date with Kyle at Bar Boulud (thanks Mom!). I'd call that a fairly successful day.
Also--Jessie wanted proof that my child could smile. Here you go.
We headed to the Transit Museum in Brooklyn Heights this morning. Here's Ada rampaging through Subway cars that date from 1907 to the 1950s. Really cool.
P.S. The baby is still doing well. He's happy and getting chubby (growing like crazy. He's already filling out his 3-6 month clothing). Also, he's still looking a lot like Ada did (though I think a more masculine version). He's been a dream baby so far (minus some random bouts of acid reflux). He's been smiling up a storm too. I'll get back to taking pictures of him when his baby zits clear up. Oh my vanity!!
