They Read

Ada sometimes climbs into Joseph's crib when he wakes up from his nap and reads to him. This almost makes me want to have a dozen more. Almost.

We went back to DUMBO and Jane's Carousel yesterday and got caught in a torrential downpour.

Now that is how you restore a carousel

In All Their Splendor

An extremely accurate representation of his gloriously enormous buttocks.

I don't think Ada looks anything like me (even me as a kid). But in this pic Jessie took I think we sort of do, no? (Ada picked out that outfit at Gap)

We finally made it home on Saturday after a cancelled flight and the universe pretty much just conspiring against us at every turn. Luckily both kids were as good as they could have possibly been. I survived!! A 5 hour flight with two kids all by myself. I can do anything. Really--it feels more empowering than when I gave birth.

You've never seen a child more excited to see her daddy. Ada has never been affectionate, but I tell you what--she literally hugged the hell out of Kyle.
Mild swearing aside, it was an amazing trip. I've got some pictures left I need to throw up here.

We took Ada golfing. She was into it and it was only a little bit inconvenient to have her out there. (I can't get any collaging tools to work right now so pardon the enormous post).
