At the Children's Museum of Art.

Innisfree Garden in upstate NY. So so beautiful. One of the prettiest places I've ever seen.

On our way to the peach orchard at a friend's house.

The Intrepid.

Double enema at in the Washington Square Park fountain.

The new SeaGlass Carousel in the Battery.

The Start with Art class at the Met. Joseph made it halfway through. Not bad for a 3 year old. I've been doing this with Ada for years and have been counting down the days both kids could go.

Designing their own wallpaper at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. Such a great one for kids.

Family spin chair session.

Tear Drop Park in Tribeca.

Baby gorilla at the Bronx Zoo.

A rare moment of zen on the train.

The FAILE exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. Best exhibit of the summer.

Ada: I'm going to go over and talk to those guys.

Our favorite spot at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Counting Koi.

First and last beach day of the summer.

I was snooping through the pictures on Kyle's phone (normal people do that!) and came across this gem. I love that he does stuff like this and doesn't even tell me about it.

Other Birthday Things

This delightfully morbid book (thanks Jessie!):

I's absolutely true.  And a beautifully illustrated book is (maybe) a good place to be introduced to the topic.

And then speaking of said birthday presents, a little video from Ada's birthday party last week. Chuck E. Cheese is the best, most amazing place and I am completely sold on it since it required absolutely zero effort on my behalf.

Kyle--always keeping things clazzy.

Jenny Lake: Grand Teton National Park

Some pictures from a little hike we took in Grand Teton National Park. It was perfect for kids--a short boat ride across the lake and then 1/2 mile to a pretty waterfall.

And for Jessie's Idaho Recap look here.  She's a lot better at this than me.
